The first step when you start blogging is to get visitors. For this step all we need is content (good conetent) and to promote the blog. The next step is not as easy and takes more time, energy and work. When we get visitors we must convert them into regular visitors. This is the hardest part.

The easiest way to keep visitors coming back to your blog is to updated your blog on a regular basis. I already talk about daily blogging here.

If blog is not updated on a regular basis, you will lose your readers to another blog site.

Another important thing is understand who read your blog. This is another great way to keep blog readers coming back for more is to understand who reads your blog and write content that is direct towards them. This doesn’t mean that you have to write on only particulare subject.

Participating in web communities or discussion forums and mentioning your blog whenever possible will help keep readers coming back to your blog. Leave comment and invite them to your site. If you have interest and the same type of readers, you can even share your blog links on your site.

The number of visitors that a blog or website recives is an indicator of success. The other indicator of success of blog or website is the number of comment.
