First human in the world infected with computer virus is British scientistic Dr. Mark Gasson. In his han was inserted chip which was then infected with a virus.
His device is sophisticated version of chips which used to tag pets. This device enables him to pass through security doors and activate his mobile phone. Chip was able to pass on the computer virus to external control system.
This test is important for future where medical device become more sophisticated. Scientists predict that the wider use will be made of implanted technology.
“With the benefits of this type of technology come risks. We may improve ourselves in some way but much like the improvements with other technologies, mobile phones for example, they become vulnerable to risks, such as security problems and computer viruses,” said dr. Gasson. However he will countinue in the field of medical implants.
